BBQ Meet & Greet + Amateur Competition Overview (Free and Open to the public)
Friday (5 PM – 7 PM):
A casual Meet & Greet hosted by celebrity Chef John Railey for BBQ enthusiasts and amateur competition participants. There will be live music and BBQ from 7 pitmasters from around the country. Proceeds from the sale of BBQ will go to Operation BBQ. A national non-profit that supports communities hit hard by natural disasters.

Then at 7pm on Friday we are going to feature kickboxing. With some of the best fighters from around the region.

Saturday (4 PM – 7 PM):

The official Amateur BBQ Competition kicks off at 4 PM, with turn-ins at 6 PM and awards presented at 7 PM. Judging will be led by the event organizer, a sponsor representative, and three celebrity pitmasters/chefs.

Louisville’s own celebrity Chef John Railey will also be taping several episodes of his hit TV show Chopping It Up with Chef.

During the day you can come and taste delicious BBQ from 7 award-winning pitmasters from across the country and just like Friday, there will be live music and a DJ. Once again all proceeds from the sale of BBQ will go Operation BBQ Relief, a national non-profit that supports communities hit hard by natural disasters.

Then at night the Kombat begins:

Saturday Night Boxing: A showcase of the best up and coming professional boxers from around the country. Doors open at 7pm fights start at 8pm. Featuring 12-0-1 local heavyweight champ, Tim “mayhem” Moten vs. Sergio Castro 5-2 heavyweight from Mexico City, Mexico

Also on the card will be

Sebastian Berrocal #1 rated light heavyweight from Costa Rica

Rosa Torres 5-0 #2 ranked super featherweight.

Daniel Ivanovski 4-0 #2 cruiser weight from Israel vs 3-0 ( all wins by knockout) Anthony Price

Bourbon Showcases: Each fight presented and sponsored by leading bourbon brands, with branded tasting booths and promotions.

Cash Bar & Food Court: Featuring local vendors and specialty bourbon cocktails.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. General Admission tickets online are $30 for Kickboxing and $50 for boxing and $60at the door day of the event.

2 Day passes are $75

VIP Tables are $1000 per night or $1500 for both nights. They include six seats and includes a hand rolled Bourbon, BBQ, and Mayhem Cuban Cigar, a bottle of bourbon for the table to share and waiter service for drinks and food.
